Teeth Whitening – We want you to get optimal results with teeth whitening so we recommend a bleaching tray system. Bleaching trays are custom-fitted so they minimally touch the sensitive area of your gums. This lessens tooth sensitivity compared to most whitening systems. Diagnostic Exams and X-rays – We take x-rays and perform diagnostic tests because early detection prevents future concerns such as gum disease, oral cancer or teeth misalignment. With our computerized x-rays we can quickly and easily determine (and visually show you) the health of your teeth. This allows us to immediately begin planning treatment.

Periodontal Therapy – Periodontal diseases or gum diseases are infections that inflame the gums and may eventually affect the bone supporting the teeth. The periodontal disease gingivitis is treatable and early treatment can prevent more serious problems.

Early treatment consists of effectively removing plaque though professional cleaning and other conservative treatments. We also determine factors that may be causing your gum concerns, such as pregnancy, diabetes, genetics, grinding your teeth, medications or stress, and discuss other treatments, including nutrition or teeth guards. If the disease is more advanced, surgical treatment is sometimes necessary.

Orthodontics – Commonly known as braces or retainers, orthodontics straightens teeth through jaw and bite correction. Root Canal Therapy – Root canals are the treatment of the inside of the tooth, or pulp, after it becomes inflamed or infected from deep decay, a crack or chip in the tooth. Signs of the need for a root canal include pain, extreme sensitivity, tenderness or drainage. Root canal therapy includes removing the pulp and then protecting the tooth with a crown or other dental covering.

Root canals are a standard procedures similar to filling a cavity and are commonly done within one office visit. They are important procedures to prevent further damage to the tooth.
