R. Thomas Navratil, DDS is a 1971 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry.  He subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.  After a term in the USAF, he returned to Racine and began his general practice in 1974.

Dr. Navratil is active in both the Wisconsin and Racine County Dental Associations.  He has been president of the Racine Dental Association, served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), served as chairman of the WDA Peer Review Committee, is on the Board of Directors of Paid Dental Insurance Company of Wisconsin, and participated in numerous WDA committees.  He also is an Associate Professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Navratil is married and has two children. When not in the office or teaching, he enjoys woodworking, gardening, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and motorcycling.

Our dental team

Our highly skilled staff includes dental assistants and full-time hygienists who perform periodontal therapy, process x-rays, obtain impressions, clean and polish teeth and teach preventive dental care.

Many of our dental team have been with Dr. Navratil since the beginning of his practice. This contributes to the family atmosphere in our office. In order to keep up with the latest dental procedures, all of our staff participates in continuing education programs every year.
